The elliptical shape of the sculpture is made up of three mirrored plates connected at unique angles, allowing both surfaces of each plate to reflect the surrounding light.
This creates distinct visual effects that change depending on the natural and artificial light conditions of the space. Through this interplay of light and reflection, the sculpture emphasizes the notion of time in space and invites deeper contemplation.
Despite its simple design, "Oblique" showcases the relationship between human perception and materiality. The changing light reflections create a unique and dynamic experience, making the sculpture an object of fascination and contemplation.
Sculpture Size: 58x42x20cm
Prototype material: Mirrored acrylic glass
Coming from a creative background in multimedia installation design, Alessandra explores the relationship between objects and its surrounding spaces to become a reflective atmosphere for the human being as a receiver. Her passion lies in creating innovative experiences through composition, materiality and (non)-color that fused together in shape emphasize a contemplative sensibility.
