Lameice’s work is described as a conversation starter, futuristic, whimsical, and elegant. Inspired by a variety of art and architectural movements; like Art Deco and Abstraction Expressionism, Lameice’s use and integration of vibrant optimistic colours comes from the works of artists like Samia Halaby and Odili Odita. Form and configuration are influenced by artists such as abstract painter Wassily Kandinsky, modernist sculptor Ruth Asawa, and architect Zaha Hadid for their infusion of curve and fluidity.
“Chemistry Vase”, one of her most loved objects, is as bubbly as it gets with its shape and colours. It’s beauty without an absolute definitive shape giving it a futuristic character. Lameice’s work have been exhibited in Paris, France at Galerie Joseph 1000 vases exhibition. As well as being showcased in different concept stores in Dubai, Milan, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
