Lodes and Diesel Living unveil their latest collaboration - four lighting products: Magic Mushroom, Reglobe, Spring, and U.F.O. These pieces redefine industrial and minimalist aesthetics, showcasing the ingenuity and visual appeal of modern industrial design. Inspired by the interplay of reality and perception, this series blends Diesel's bold design language with Lodes' distinctive brand philosophy.

Reglobe references certain styles from the 1960s, due to its unique industrial process. The process uses rotational mouldingto assemble plastic grains of different colours, creating a terrazzo effect.
The process uses rotational moulding to assemble plastic grains of different colours, creating a terrazzo effect. The end result is a large, spherical object with a large volume, featuring a white background with brightly coloured, speckled accents. The lampshade is made of a compound that incorporates partially recycled plastic, derived from production waste. It has been developed with circularity in mind, using 50% virgin LLPDE (linear low-density polyethylene) and 50% of the same recycled polymer. Each lamp is unique with colour variations of chromatic tones, depending on how they are mixed throughout production – resulting in a ‘Random Terrazzo’ finish.

The lamp is named U.F.O. in reference to unidentified flying objects. Drawing inspiration from the minimalist forms found in the 1990s and 2000s – the lamp is characterised by a wide and almost flat metal diffuser with a slightly conical shape.
U.F.O.’s versatility makes it an ideal lamp for both residential settings and public spaces associated with the world of hospitality and food & beverage. The ‘unidentified flying object’ can be placed above a table and, thanks to its minimalist design, can stand alone or be combinined with multiple lamps, for example in a restaurant, it becomes the perfect lighting solution to illuminate the surrounding space.

Magic Mushroom takes inspiration from the retro blown glass lamps that were typical of the 1960s. The reinterpretation consists of a steel base that supports a large, blown glass diffuser, in the shape of a ‘mushroom’.
The use of blown glass results in a naturally irregular surface, which holds a fluid, liquid-like appearance. When light is filtered through the transparent glass and projected onto the wall, it creates an optical effect, mimicking water reflecting on a surface. In doing so, the lamp gently illuminates the surrounding space while also instilling calmness.
The lamp is characterised the tubular element of the metal rod that bends back on itself from the base, thus creating a circle reminiscent of a spring.
The new version embraces a minimalist aesthetic and is equipped with an LED strip that projects a linear beam of light onto the wall next to which it is placed. Spring meets various needs, allowing the light to be projected according to the environment in which it is positioned. At the base of the lamp, there are three adjustable feet that ensure the light remains parallel to the wall, even on uneven surfaces.
