ASKWATCH Nakano is a luxury watch brand located in the heart of Nakano, Tokyo that offers a unique shopping experience. The designers at KENTA NAGAI STUDIO have used stone and metal throughout the interior where every detail is thoughtfully curated to captivate the senses.

The site is set within "Nakano Broadway," a commercial complex that is famous for its subculture shops and unique products. In recent years, it has also gained a reputation as a destination for luxury watch enthusiasts, with many watch stores lining the streets. Due to the store's location within this distinctive commercial environment, it was important to maintain the brand's overall image while also adapting it to fit the specific characteristics of the area and the needs of its customers.

At ASKWATCH Nakano, customers are not just shopping for watches, but embarking on a journey of art, design, and unparalleled sensory indulgence.

The entrance features a mesmerising transparent amber glass door that radiates a warm and inviting glow. Inside, a sensory journey unfolds, as linear light fixtures seemingly float above a path adorned with natural stones, creating a tactile experience that engages the senses. The polished and elegant watches take center stage. Showcased on aluminium and glass shelving, the watches rest atop a bed of stone that symbolises the permanence and reliability of the timepieces. This design not only adds visual interest but also embodies the brand's values in a tangible and artistic way.

The interior paths of the store have been meticulously crafted, with a sense of purposeful flow that guides customers through different areas of the space. The juxtaposition of organic forms and metal materials adds a unique dimension to the design, creating a captivating interplay between time and space. The front wall of the long and narrow cylindrical storefront is artfully mirrored, adding depth and sophistication to the limited store space.

ASKWATCH Nakano masterfully incorporates sculptural organic forms with sleek metals that elevate the store's design into a true work of art. Every element is carefully curated to evoke emotions and create a lasting impression, aligning harmoniously with the luxury watches that the store offers.
