"A soft-toned colour palette was used, giving the aimed tranquillity and creates a versatile background for all the custom designed furniture as well as renown design classics. "

90 sq. meters apartment belongs to a surgeon and his wife who runs the medical clinic. When working on  this interior, the main aim was to create the most calming and high quality environment for them as they live  under lots of pressure daily. A soft-toned colour palette was used, giving the aimed tranquillity and creates a versatile background for all the custom designed furniture as well as renown design classics.

Right from the entrance, you will see the variety of wood and stone combined together, filling the open living  area. In the kitchen, oak wood cabinets are paired with the travertine marble slabs of the kitchen island. Next to it, contrasting, almost all black furniture in the dining space stand out from the surrounding muted  tones. Huge, custom designed dining table was made from the precious bog wood. Its form is strong and soft at the same time thanks to the curvy shape of the top.

Another unique furniture in this room is the custom made 4 meters sideboard built from the walnut wood. Its form relates to the mid-century modern classics but hides all the high tech audio systems at the same time.

Playing with varieties of the wood, we decided to use the burl wood for the console which stands at the  entrance. Its decorative texture is well exposed by the minimalistic form of the furniture.

In the wood-panelled hallway, all the private rooms are hidden behind the massive, floor to ceiling doors.  Mirrored bedrooms differ from each other in colours but both keep the idea of wood and stone mix.

The oak wood wardrobe in the master bedroom is hidden behind the glass wall. Bright linen curtain behind it  has the nice soft feeling and gives the proper background for the custom designed dressing table, once  again finished in the outstanding burl wood.

Both bathrooms are finished with the travertine marble slabs paired with oak wood cupboards giving the  stone surface some warm touch. Huge travertine sinks were made by local stonemasons.

In the office, oak wood panelling and the floor to ceiling library create the calm and cosy nook for both  working and relaxing time.
