23:59 Office, designed by Studio Sherpa, is a modern office that embodies the passage of time. The designers expressed this concept through a thoughtfully curated colour palette that gradually transitions floor by floor on finishes throughout the angular, geometric spaces.
The minimal layout includes five floors with defined areas for working, eating and relaxing from studio spaces, lounges to a rooftop. The first floor begins at the boundary level, with a colour palette of black and white. A distinctive feature is the stacked black brick wall that adds texture and visual interest. On the second level, with light gray and white tones signifying dawn, leads staff to the open concept workstations, framed with translucent partitions used to define workspaces that create a sense of transparency and openness.
“23:59 The company blocks unnecessary eyes from the outside on the 1st floor and constructs a space according to the flow of time from the 1st floor to the 5th floor, where light penetrates through the stacking of bricks, “together with consumers until the end of today.”
The lounge area on each floor was designed to resemble a living room. Keeping in line with what we experienced during the pandemic, it is made to represent the ambiguous boundary between office space and home.

Shifting to morning on the third floor, a soft conch colour is applied with wood floors and bartop stools that add warmth to the space. Progressing to the afternoon, vibrant orange is used with wood floors that fuse with the walls, framed with recessed lighting to instill a sense of depth and comfort. Transitioning to the evening on the fifth floor, deep indigo blue finishes are placed strategically on large dark pillars lining the hallway to the dark cabinetry, evoking a calm and contemplative atmosphere.
The lighting placed at the bottom of each floor is set to automatically turn out when the day passes.

The designers focused on creating spaces that establish opportunities for staff to congregate and converse within diverse workstations and lounges that redefine the boundary between domestic and workplace spaces. The subtle yet powerful interior follows the flow of time executed with precision to positively influence the well-being and mood of the staff within the workplace environment.
